Other plus rates

The standard hourly rates of pay shall be increased in the following circumstances by the rates specified:

1. Painters when engaged on signwriting or engraving £3.82 per hour
   
   
2. Employees whose weekly rates of pay are determined in accordance with paragraph (b)(i) of Article 5 of this Agreement shall be entitled to receive extra payments for work in discomfort and inconvenience at the rates and on the conditions which are set out in Appendix 8 Part III.

Payments made under this Article should not be taken into account for the purposes of calculating overtime.
