Existing terms and conditions

Nothing in this Agreement shall operate to the detriment of any individual employee who, immediately prior to the operative date of this Agreement (as set out in Article 2 hereof) enjoyed terms and conditions of service superior to those set out herein.

(Note: It is stressed that this article is intended to apply only to those individuals who were in employment immediately prior to the operative date and then only for so long as he or she remains in the post held at that time).

The terms and conditions of employment of individuals in post prior to the 1 September 2015 are protected in accordance with the provisions of Section 8 of the Public Services Commission Act 2015.
