Sick absence record is giving cause for concern

If a civil servant's sick absence record is giving cause for concern the Accounting Officer should review the case and consider whether it is appropriate to refer the matter to the Public Services Commission under Regulation E12.

The Accounting Officer must inform the civil servant of their concern and that the matter may be referred to the Commission to arrange a medical examination by the Commission's Occupational Health Practitioner.
