We offer generous annual leave entitlement to our employees, in addition to 10 Manx public holidays. 

Term time employees do not receive separate annual leave instead it is built into their contracted terms. Part time employees receive pro-rata annual leave entitlement. Zero hour contracts are usually paid for annual leave.

Flexible working opportunities are available in some roles and we have a wide range or roles which are designed to support how you want to work including part time, term time and zero hour contracts. 

Each job will indicate on the advert what the hours and working pattern for the role is and whether job share opportunities are available.

We have great wellbeing initiatives across the Public Service. 

Health and wellbeing groups have been established in many areas with dedicated leads for social, physical and psychological wellbeing. We have many wellbeing activities, from our staff choir to mental health awareness sessions. We also have courses such as ‘Healthy Worker’ and Retirement Preparation available to our employees. 

We want to look after our employees wellbeing – we have a staff welfare team that our employees can speak to confidentially, as well as our occupational health service who can provide confidential and impartial medical advice.
