Corporate Services Division

The Corporate Services Division is at the centre of all activities undertaken by the Office of Human Resources and we provide key services in the following areas through two sections:

Industrial Relations and Policy Section

  • Employee and Industrial Relations across the IOM Public Service
  • Negotiation Forums
  • Maintenance and Updating of Terms & Conditions of Service
  • Development of the Framework of Corporate Employment Policies
  • Social Legislation
  • Obligations under current employment related legislation
  • Whitley Council Grading Appeals and Employment Tribunal
  • Civil Service Appeals Tribunal

Finance and Corporate Services Section

  • management of the service delivery planning processes
  • financial management including the coordination of estimates submissions and the allocation of available funding to meet key objectives
  • compilation and dissemination of management information and the evaluation of service delivery and financial performance
  • provision of corporate services including matters relating to corporate governance and sustainability
  • data management and the handling of subject access requests under the provisions of the Data Protection Act 2002
  • maintenance and updating of information and communications technology
  • management of premises occupied by the Office
